Join in three steps
Get the client
Download the ROSE.NET build for PC, or the APK for Quest. It already points at our servers.
Install and launch
On PC, unzip it and run RecRoom.exe. On Quest, sideload the APK and open it from Unknown Sources.
Make your account
Pick a name, read the Code of Conduct below, and head to the Rec Center.
Download links are shared with members directly. Ask a moderator if you need one.
Read before you play
Code of Conduct
Age and accounts
You must be 13+ to have a voice chat account. Players 12 and under must use a junior account.
Be respectful
No harassment. Keep things safe and respectful.
No exploiting
No exploiting, custom plugins (unless we've given you permission to mod with them), DDoSing, or anything else that causes problems.
Report bugs
Don't abuse bugs. If you find one, report it.
Online dating
ROSE.NET allows online dating, but both people must consent and be close in age. No adults with minors. For example, no 18-year-old dating a 12-year-old, and no 14-year-old dating a 9-year-old.
Don't request items
Don't ask moderators or anyone with admin permissions to give you items. You can ask once, then respect their answer.
Reporting players
Use the in-game report system for everyday reports. For exploiting or predatory behavior, open a ticket. If you feel unsafe, you can always leave the room.

Is this the official Rec Room?
No. ROSE.NET is a fan-run revival. We aren't affiliated with or endorsed by Rec Room Inc.
Does it cost anything?
No. ROSE.NET is free to play.
Can I use my old Rec Room account?
No. ROSE.NET runs on its own servers, so you'll make a new account the first time you play.
Which devices work?
Windows PC, in desktop or PC VR, and Meta Quest using our APK.
Can I use mods?
Only with our permission. Unapproved plugins count as exploiting under rule 3.
